Sister Wives’ Janelle Brown says daughter Madison Blash hasn’t spoken to father Kody Brown in years
Kody Brown’s family tree extends an olive branch.
Madison Blash, one of his six children with ex Janelle Brown, has expressed the possibility of ending her long-standing estrangement with her mother, who she shared with ex Janelle Brown in 2022, and her father, who she split in 2022. And she emphasized what it takes to make amends.
“I’m going to embrace reconciliation and forgiveness and closure,” the 30-year-old said on the TLC series on Nov. 30. “But if we want him back in our lives, we’re going to need a consistent pattern.”
And Janelle agreed, confessing, “It’s going to be hard for Kody to make amends.”
Still, the 56-year-old believes that “families are strong even when we’re apart,” pointing out how loyal the 18-year-old’s father has been over the past few months and recently expressed a desire to reconnect.
“He’s like, ‘I want to come out to Raleigh and go to dinner with him,'” Janelle told Madison. Madison is the mother of four young children with her husband, Caleb Brush. “I think it has something to do with families and children.”
