Shonda Rhimes appears on the red carpet with her three daughters at the ‘Bridgerton’ Season 4 premiere
In the eyes of this author, Francesca Bridgerton would appear to have had an eventful life.
In fact, Hannah Dodd teases the inner turmoil her character is headed for in Part 2 of Bridgerton season 4 (available on Netflix starting February 26) following the return of Michaela Sterling (Masali Baduza), the cousin of her husband John Sterling (Victor Ali), to whom Francesca is inexplicably attracted.
“Michaela is a huge tornado in Francesca’s life,” Hannah told E! News’ exclusive interview with Will Malfuzzi. “Something happened in Scotland, and I think Michaela is quite a standout for Francesca there.”
Moreover, her cousin-in-law’s arrival in London could not have come at a worse time. Not only have Francesca and John welcomed the Bridgerton family into their home, but the couple is finally getting things back on track after a somewhat lackluster start to their marriage (which occurred in season 3).
“John and Francesca have grown closer and closer and have worked really hard to build their relationship,” Hannah explained. “[They]face some really, really difficult conversations and grow really close and end up in a really, really good place.”
