Intel buys too deeper after another strong week’s profit

Intel’s stock may be a bit longer in the teeth, at least in the short term. The chipmaker raised about 21% this week after the Wall Street Journal reported that Intel reached out to Apple and Taiwan’s semiconductors for potential investments. The journal also said the US plans to push chip makers to match domestic semiconductor output to their imports. Its latest profits have boosted Intel by 80% nearly yearly. The only problem? The stock price is now deeper into the territory it was acquired. Intel’s relative strength index is located at 80 from 77 a week ago. RSIs above 70 are more susceptible to pullbacks because their assets can be too fast. “The $20-$35 rise in chipmakers over the past month has been very clearly fueled by punchy news, and CEO Lip Butane is now doing more than pushing stocks higher. “Even if INTC became the master puppet, I think the stock would have been without a rudder and traded at $20/sharp,” though, when Inter’s RSI last hit this high was on February 19th, when it reached 80. Between then and March 11th, stocks slumped to over 23%. Other stocks in the S&P 500 also drifted into territories over 70 this week with RSIS exceeding 5% each week. With an RSI of 90, Marathon Petroleum is the most over-acquired stock in the S&P 500. Until trading on Friday afternoons, stocks had risen more than 7% that week. IBM also created a list. RSI is nearly 79, with profits of over 7% over a week, due to a thrill of enthusiasm about the company’s role in quantum computing. HSBC has revealed that it will use IBM’s Heron Quantum Processor to improve bond trading. “I believe IBM is a clear leader in the quantum market,” wrote Morgan Stanley analyst Eric Woodling on Friday. “Our research suggests that IBM has the largest and broadest ecosystem of advanced quantum computers today, with a total of over 75 system installations since 2017. That is, IBM combines the world over (i.e., all other quantum vendors).” Still, for all its enthusiasm, Woodring is only an valuation of the equal weight of IBM stocks.
