When Leanne Rimes married Eddie Cibrian in 2011, even her biggest fans wondered what life would be like.
Because, as you recall, they met while married to other people and that didn’t prevent them from embarking on a romance.
“I’ve been on both sides of the coin. I’ve been fooled too, so I know how it feels,” Rhimes told Flow Space last year, acknowledging “all the craziness” that followed. “But a lot of women don’t know what to do with that anger…I was an easy target to project onto. And once I realized that, things got a lot easier.”
It certainly didn’t look easy at first. But after a regrettable interview was conducted, his custody issues came to light, and predictions of his future infidelity by ex-wife Brandi Glanville eventually faded, Rhimes and Cibrian became a normal couple.
“We’ve been through a lot together,” the “How Do I Live” singer told E! Announcement for February. “Now our sons, my son-in-law (Mason and Jake), are 22 and 18 years old. They are adult boys. And to help raise his sons, we have a very calm life. It’s great. And it didn’t start out that way at all, but now we’ve really grown up and love each other.”
