Despite not having fought since 2021, Conor McGregor, one of the biggest names in mixed martial arts (MMA), will return to action against Max Holloway on July 11 in Las Vegas, Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) CEO Dana White announced.
Irishman McGregor (22-6-0) will face fellow former champion Holloway (27-9-0) in a non-title welterweight bout as the main event of UFC 329 during International Fight Week, White announced on Saturday. This is a rematch of their August 2013 featherweight bout, which McGregor won by a three-round decision despite a torn ACL.
