Morgan was ready to win her third consecutive championship as a Navarro athlete, so she and her mentor Monica made the difficult decision to return for yet another semester. Unfortunately, she never got the chance to compete again, as she graduated in 2020 right after Nationals were canceled due to the pandemic.
“Please support Navarro College. You are everything to me. It breaks my heart that I won’t be able to support you anymore,” Morgan posted on Instagram in March of the same year. “I am so grateful for the bonds I have made and the memories I will have forever.”
Although Morgan retired from cheerleading, she went to Daytona as a spectator the following year to support the team. One of Season 1’s breakout stars, Morgan went on to partner with Buick and launch her own scrunchie collection with Konea and Sukunshi.
Of course, this is just one of many brand deals signed by the athlete who starred in the Netflix competition series Battle Camp. Despite marrying Stone Burleson, who works in business development at Matador Resources Company, in 2023, “we haven’t actually gone on our honeymoon yet because we’ve been so busy,” she told E! News for April 2025. Thankfully, their life together still feels like paradise.
“I married my best friend, so our life is very easy and I get to spend every day with him,” she shared, adding that she would like to add more members to the team. “We want to build a family together and continue to love each other and live our lives together.”
