In 2020, Sofia left the hit podcast. This was co-hosted with Alex Cooper as it reportedly disagreed to a 50/50 deal with Dave Portnoy of Barstool Sports.
“Sophia didn’t make a deal so when it was endured and there was no more point from her side, we had to move forward without her,” Alex said in a May 2020 podcast episode. “That’s it. Everyone realized that she’s never going to be happy. There were more and more points and eventually she stopped sending points and never sent them. She said she wanted that.
However, Alex said the reason had to do with negotiations, but Sofia shared that she left because of feelings of betrayal.
“Everything we had been working towards the last six months and planning was not a sudden plan, but rather something we were staying with this company and saying (Portnoy),” Sofia told Rolling Stone in an article published in July 2020. ”
