If you’re looking for Britney Spears, look no further than her social media channels.
After temporarily deleting her Instagram account, the “Me Against the Music” singer returned to the platform on Nov. 7 with a message to protect her peace.
“So much has happened this year. It’s crazy…” she posted on Instagram on Nov. 7. “Get your ballerinas (slippers), go full circle, and have your boundaries. This is incredibly strict and in a way it’s like a prayer, but life is full of endless possibilities, so it’s important to be yourself and keep it simple.”
Before deactivating her account, Britney, 43, reflected on a difficult time in her life and spoke about her “traumatic” stay in a rehab facility towards the end of her 13-year conservatorship. (She also chronicled the ordeal in her 2023 memoir, The Woman In Me.)
“For four months, I was left without a private door and illegally forced to not use my legs or body to go anywhere,” she wrote on Oct. 19 in a since-deleted Instagram post. “I feel logic and mindfulness in my body because ONE was 100 percent murdered and destroyed…I feel like my wings were ripped off and I suffered brain damage 100 percent long ago.”
