Benny Blanco is opening up about his hygiene.
Last month, the music producer, who is married to Selena Gomez, addressed an online buzz about his supposed body odor after footage of his dirty feet went viral, with longtime friend Ed Sheeran also coming to his defense.
On the March 10 episode of the podcast “Benny’s Friends Keep Secrets,” Ed joked, “But I’m just like you. I don’t look like I smell good, but you’re the best smelling person I know.”
Benny replied, “I know! You smell great even when you haven’t showered.”
They also agreed that if anyone were to receive backlash over their musks, it should be Benny’s podcast co-host Lil Dicky.
“It’s like an asshole,” joked Ed after smelling the rapper’s belly button. “Is there anything to get rid of that smell?”
Benny added, “Mine smells like nothing.”
Why did a past episode of his podcast get his feet covered in dirt and send the internet into a frenzy? “It’s the facility’s fault,” Benny explained on a Feb. 26 appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! “It’s not mine.”
