Inflation continues to hit consumers’ wallets in April, according to the latest price data released Thursday, and the Federal Reserve is likely to remain on the sidelines until the current wave subsides.The Commerce Department reported that the personal consumption expenditure price index rose a seasonally adjusted 0.4% in the month, bringing the 12-month inflation rate to 3.8%.
