President Donald Trump is prepared to use the U.S. Navy to escort oil tankers through the Strait of Hormuz as the war with Iran escalates, but providing safe passage for the large amount of traffic that normally passes through the waterway has proven difficult. Meta has allowed rival AI companies to offer its chatbots on WhatsApp to users in Brazil for a fee, a day after confirming it had made a similar decision for users in Europe.
