“Catfish” host Nev Schulman: “He’s able to be alive” after breaking his neck in a bicycle accident
Nev Schulman and Max Joseph are officially logged off the catfish.
The duo began hosting the show in 2012 following the success of a documentary of the same name, but after nine series on the network, they responded to news that the series had been cancelled by MTV.
“Twelve years later,” NEV said, sitting next to Max on his Instagram video on September 22nd.
In a message to fans, NEV and Max have been reflected in the “Reverse Image Search” who led the series aimed at helping people reach the bottom of questionable digital romance and friendship, which coined the term “catfish” and engaged in many hotel rooms across the country, the series.
It suggests there is hope for a pickup by another network that left the series in 2018, but “maybe it’s just a pause.”
He then added to NEV: “First, Happy 10+ years on cable TV at this age and age. This was the last 10 years on cable TV. You did that.”
