Jerusalem
–

With the support of the United States, Israeli rebellious Israeli Prime Minister has pledged to deal with many countries where Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu recognizes the Palestinian state.

At a weekly government meeting on Sunday, Netanyahu said that Israel will fight “fight against defamatory propaganda aimed at us” at the United Nations and other international forums with a call to create a Palestinian state that he said would “put our existence at risk and constitute an absurd award for terrorism.”

He vowed that the international community will “he will hear from us about this issue the next day.” Netanyahu has not publicly said what he intends, but in a video statement on Sunday evening, he said Israeli response will come after meeting President Donald Trump next week.

Without Trump’s support, Netanyahu has few options as to how Israel will respond. But with that support that Netanyahu clearly informs him what he has, Israeli leaders feel that he can do anything under our blanket of diplomatic protection.

The Israeli Prime Minister hinted at some of what was coming. He said Israel doubled Jewish settlements in the West Bank, which are considered illegal under international law. “And we will continue this path.”

For weeks, Israel accused the West of recognizing the Palestinian state only for domestic political reasons, claiming that symbolic moves would not change reality on earth. But now, the moment is here, so Israel is assaulting.

Netanyahu’s far-right allies are pushing him to go as far as he can, asking Israel to annex the entire West Bank or a large range of it. Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich said the “only response” was annexation of the entire West Bank, and “to remove the stupid idea of the Palestinian state from the agenda entirely.” National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gwil has proposed to apply for sovereignty at the next government meeting and has called for the Palestinian authorities to be demolished.

Israeli forces will defend their guard during their weekly settlers tour at Hebron, held on August 30th on the West Bank of Israeli tribes.

The fact that Britain, Canada and Australia are considered among Israel’s closest allies has rarely sluggished angry responses or shaking calls for annexation.

Instead of changing Israel’s courses, this perception only encouraged the government in a diplomatic brawl where the list of Western countries is growing. According to Netanyahu’s worldview, the only country Israel needs is the United States, and he has public support from the Trump administration.

However, if the issue of the Palestinian state indicates the scope of US support for Israel, it also indicates the limitations of US influence elsewhere. During last week’s visit to Israel, Secretary of State Marco Rubio said he spoke with countries trying to acknowledge Palestine and tried to convince them that the move was counterproductive.

“I have expressed it to them on multiple occasions,” he said at a press conference last week. But none of the countries that say they recognize the Palestine situation have changed their policies.

There are two goals for recognition. It ended the war in Gaza nearly two years later, supporting solutions for the two states. But both of these goals seem at best as Israel escalates the war in Gaza and embarrassingly expands West Bank settlements with the intention of killing the ideas of the Palestinian state.

Former Israeli consul general General Aron Pinas predicted that Netanyahu would not be likely to annex much of the West Bank.

“Even if he does annexation, it would be token annexation of the token of the land strip of Region C (who wouldn’t mind) about it,” Pinkus told CNN.

Israel has “sufficient warning time” to prepare for the recognition of the Palestinian state, Pincus said, and to see the measures it needs to be done to persuade the country to pursue other options. “You had plenty of time for a diplomatic campaign where you were praised for alleviating the humanitarian situation in Gaza to demonstrate integrity and goodwill,” Pinkus said. But Israel failed to do so.

Opposition leader Ia Rapid has blown up countries that together recognize Netanyahu and the Palestinian state.

“The same government that caused the worst security disaster in our history is now bringing the most serious diplomatic crisis to date,” he said in X.
