How Travis Kelce is preparing for NFL season after Taylor Swift’s wedding
Travis Kelce is ready for his next chapter.
Nearly three weeks after the Kansas City Chiefs player tied the knot with Taylor Swift at Madison Square Garden, friend Cris Carter hinted that next season in the NFL could be his last.
“Andrew (Spruill) and I started dating Travis before his rookie year in the NFL,” Carter wrote above a photo shared to Instagram on July 20 of him posing with Kelce with the training squad. “Please know that (the Goats) are preparing for their last dance. Next stop is Canton/HOF.”
And that’s not the only thing Carter hinted at about Kelce’s future. After all, the three-time Super Bowl champion wore a black Bearcats T-shirt from his alma mater, the University of Cincinnati, matching shorts and red and black Nike sneakers, slung his arm around Carter’s shoulders, and even showed off his wedding ring.
Swift and Kelsea, both 36, cemented their love story in a ceremony in New York City on July 3 in front of 1,000 guests. But despite the large guest list, which included Adam Sandler, who officiated the wedding, the event was an intimate family affair.
