Nala Smith details ‘one of the most difficult parts’ of daughter Wimsey’s cancer treatment
Nala Smith’s family has a lot to celebrate.
Less than a month after she and Lucky Blue Smith shared that their 2-year-old daughter Wimsey Lou was diagnosed with an unspecified cancer in late 2025, the influencer confirmed that she is in remission.
“Lucky and I have been going through and processing this situation for the last eight months. We even discussed sharing private parts of our lives. We wanted to share and even find the words to share it once she finished her treatment and knew what her situation would be,” Nala said in a video posted to Instagram on July 17.
The 24-year-old, who has four children with Lucky, continued: “Now that I’m finally in remission, I feel like I’ve found the words I want to say.”
Why she and her husband, who are also parents to Rumble Honey, 5, Slim Easy, 4, Forney Gold, 10 months, and daughter Gravity Blue with ex Stormy Bully, decided to share Wimsy’s news in the first place is because they experienced first-hand the realities families face while navigating childhood cancer.
