Will Taylor Frankie Paul’s season of ‘The Bachelorette’ air? Disney executives speak…
Jake Pavelka officially landed it.
The Bachelor alum, who proposed to Vienna Girardi on season 14 in 2010 but called off their engagement just three months later, married his fiancée Amy two years after they met on a dating app.
“I wasn’t sure if I was going to get married, but then I found Amy,” Jake said in an interview with People magazine on June 8. “It almost feels unreal. There’s a sense of security and confidence in knowing you can spend your life with your best friend.”
Jake, 48, and Amy, 41, who spent six hours together on their first date after matching on Bumble in 2024, opted for a “deliberately small” outdoor wedding in Santa Barbara, California. As Jake puts it, they wanted their wedding to be like a “living room gathering.”
Amy also wanted their big day to focus on their special bond.
“Jake has a way of making even the most ordinary moments feel special,” said the bride, who works in the aerospace and defense industry. “I am so grateful to have the opportunity to build lives, create memories, and grow together through the seasons ahead.”
