Two NBA fans banned for life after storming the court during Knicks vs. Spurs game
Victor Wenbanyama’s height raises some questions.
Mainly, how tall is he actually? The San Antonio Spurs center has towered over players throughout his career. And while many try to guess his exact measurements, he often dribbles around the topic.
“After many years, it became irrelevant to me,” Wenby, also known as Wenbanyama, said at a press conference in October. “Because, in my opinion, I have a lot more interesting things to do.”
And athletes are never asked for answers. “Sometimes I’m surprised it’s still a conversation,” he continued. “Because, yeah, the truth is, in my mind, it doesn’t make much of a difference. I’m taller than everyone else. That’s all you need to know.”
Plus, he has a loftier goal looming: the 2026 NBA Finals. The Spurs lost to the New York Knicks in Game 1 on June 3, final score 95-105. Wenbanyama and his team may not have come close, but he isn’t too worried.
“We’ll have more chances,” he said in the post-match press conference. “This is a series from Parts 1 to 4. So you’ll have time to work on it.”
