Kyle Busch‘s lawyer is trying to set the record straight.

“This needs to be stopped and those who made false statements have been notified to correct them,” his lawyer wrote on LinkedIn on May 23. “Two insurance policies had no value prior to the lawsuit and were therefore terminated. The remaining policies were handled responsibly.”
He revealed that the racing driver’s family is receiving guidance from experts.
“The Bush family hired an independent insurance expert to evaluate the entire portfolio and recommend a systematic transition to alternative coverage that provides substantial lifetime death benefits,” Rickard said.
“The Bush family did not run away from the interview,” he emphasized. “They replaced it with better coverage. The suggestion that someone encouraged them to give up tens of millions in death benefits is a fabrication, and the people repeating it know it to be true.”
