No one else can tell Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt about their journey that began when they met in a club in 2006.
“I told almost everyone that I was going to marry him and that I loved him,” she recalled in a 2016 interview with Vice magazine. “(Everyone) thought I was crazy.”
But not everyone was crazy about the Hills stars’ relationship. In fact, many people associated Spencer and Heidi, aka Speddy, as reality TV villains.
Still, the two remained together, married, became parents to sons Gunner and Riker, and continued their reality TV fame on shows such as “Celebrity Big Brother,” “Marriage Boot Camp,” and “The Hills: New Beginnings.”
However, in January 2025, Heidi and Spencer lost their home in the Los Angeles fires. As they looked to rebuild, he began promoting her music on social media, and her 2010 album Superficial climbed the charts.
Heidi told Billboard in February 2025, “To feel like people were really coming together and supporting us and our family literally burned away the shell and the stigma that we had for years.” “It’s great that people are finally seeing through it and realizing there was always a love story.”
