The Canadian musician just released his latest single “Disassociate” on March 25th and is excited to perform this song and other songs from his past two albums live when his European tour begins on May 2nd. After all, touring is his favorite part of being an artist.
“The people that come to the show are the most important thing to me,” he said. “The streams and the numbers on the screen are cool, and the metrics that show us that we’re growing are cool, but there’s nothing like coming out to a venue and having a bunch of fans there singing along.”
In August, he will once again be heading to North America. Coined it the Smile You’re On Tour, he said it was the “biggest thing” he had ever accomplished and that it was all because of his fans.
“I tour at my own expense,” Juets explained. “For fans, when you buy a tour ticket or buy merchandise, you’re directly funding the next tour. And when it comes to touring, I do everything out of pocket. For me, every time I get to the next level, I take what I got from the last tour and think, ‘This is what I need to level up my next tour.'”
