She claimed his passenger seat in an April 6 Instagram video, but it was the closest the two came to starting their romance in earnest.
But she wouldn’t be the first star to feel a little excited around the 41-year-old.
The seven-time F1 champion, who races for Ferrari, has spent eight years trying to keep pace with singer Nicole Scherzinger.
And since then, he’s definitely been enjoying life in the fast lane, making pit stops at the Cannes Film Festival, Paris Fashion Week, Monte Carlo and Greece alongside the likes of Rihanna, Nicki Minaj, Gigi Hadid and Sofia Richie Grainge.
While he’s put the brakes on some dating rumors (for the record, he and Kardashian’s sister Kendall Jenner have always been “just friends,” he told E! News in 2015), he’s definitely enjoying the process.
