Melanie Griffith responds to daughter Dakota Johnson’s romance with role model
Melanie Griffith is eager to play Dakota Johnson in the new leading role.
The Working Girl actress clearly revealed her thoughts on her daughter’s relationship with her role model as the couple’s budding romance continues to evolve.
In a video posted by gossip blog Deuxmoi on April 5, Melanie, 68, summed up the Fifty Shades of Gray star’s relationship with the “Sally, When the Wine’s Over” singer (real name Tucker Pillsbury) in one word: “amazing.”
As for whether the couple has her mother’s seal of approval, Melanie added: “Of course they do.”
Rumors of romance first surfaced between Dakota, 36, and Role Model, 28, after they bonded while out to dinner with friends in December. The following month, the pair went out again for a PDA-filled date night in Los Angeles, leaving holding hands.
And stars such as Taylor Swift, Margot Robbie and Olivia Rodrigo also attended the LA show of Paul McCartney’s farewell tour on March 28th, and the bond between the two seemed to be growing stronger.
