Kelly Ripa details fight with kids over IG photo that ended in 4 hours of silence
Kelly Ripa says her children don’t always have picture-perfect attitudes.
In fact, it resulted in her and Mark Consuelos’ three children Michael, 28, Laura, 24, and Joaquin, 22, being silenced in social media posts over the holidays.
“I have to say, I tried to post my family merry-go-round on Instagram for Christmas,” Kelly revealed to Bronwyn Newport on the Let’s Talk Off Camera podcast on February 11th. “I stopped talking to my kids for about four hours over Christmas because of arguments and arguments about, ‘You can’t use that picture of me. Well, you can’t use that picture of me.’
“I was like, ‘Guys, this is a photo of us in church. It’s not that deep,'” Kelly added. “We are now in front of the Christmas tree at church.”
Kelly, who married Mark in 1996, ultimately buckled down and went their separate ways when it came to sharing the magic of the holidays. In fact, Laura, Michael and Joaquin appeared with their parents in a snap from London, a cropped shot from the beach and even a surprise dinner photo.
