After months of speculation, the former heavyweight champion has officially announced his return and will fight on April 11th.

Former heavyweight world champion Tyson Fury will face Arslanbek Mahmudov in his comeback fight in April, weeks after announcing he would come out of retirement.
The fight between Fury and Canada-based Russian Makhmudov will be held in the UK on April 11, but the venue has not yet been announced and it will be broadcast on Netflix.

Fury, who is British-born and identifies as an Irish Traveler, quit boxing in January last year after suffering two consecutive losses to Oleksandr Usyk, the latest in a string of retirement bouts.
The 37-year-old ‘Gypsy King’ said earlier this month that he would return to competition in 2026 and continues to train in Thailand.
Fury posted on Instagram: “It’s official. I’m back doing what I love.”
“I brought the biggest network @netflix @netflixuk This is going to be astronomical. God bless you.”
Fury’s record is 34 wins, 2 losses, and 1 draw. He is a two-time world champion.
“I’m excited about this opportunity,” said Mahmudov, 36, who has won 21 of 23 fights. “I came to fight a war.
“Tyson Fury was a great champion and I’m ready to leave with a bigger W than ever.”
Fury was expected to develop for his long-awaited fight with fellow former British heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua. However, Joshua’s future is uncertain after a car accident in Nigeria in December killed two of his close friends.
