Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim has slammed ‘entitlements’ at Old Trafford as culture change remains a priority.

Ruben Amorim says provocative social media posts by two Manchester United academy stars show a toxic “sense of entitlement” at the Premier League club.
The United manager said last week that Harry Amath was “struggling” at Sheffield Wednesday, who are bottom of the Championship, pointing out that Chido Obi is not a regular starter in United’s under-21 side.

The 18-year-olds uploaded and later deleted Instagram Story posts.
Amass posted a photo of himself holding Sheffield Wednesday’s November Player of the Month award, along with a grinning emoji.
Obi’s post showed him celebrating his goal for the Under-21s against Manchester City in August with his arms outstretched.
Asked in Friday’s pre-match press conference if he had seen the post, Amorim defended his direct approach.
“I think it’s a feeling of a little bit of entitlement to our club,” said the Portuguese.
“Sometimes strong words aren’t bad words. Sometimes difficult moments aren’t bad for kids. They don’t always need to be praised for everything and in every situation.”
Ahead of Sunday’s visit to highly-rated Aston Villa, the manager of United, who are sixth in the Premier League, has called for a change in the club’s culture.
“Sometimes players forget what it means to play for Manchester United. Sometimes we as a club forget who we are,” he said.
“That’s the emotion I’m feeling. So I understand everything. It’s the environment, it’s the moment for the players and the kids.”
“They feel entitled. They feel free to respond by sending pictures to managers.”
Amorim said his office door is open if players wish to discuss issues.
“Nobody comes to talk to me,” he said. “And that’s how we can resolve things. So I think first of all we as a club need to change and then everything will change.”
The United manager was also asked about a T-shirt worn by Coby Mainu’s half-brother earlier this week that read “Release Koby Mainu”.
The 20-year-old England international is awaiting his first start in the Premier League this season, but his lack of game time has been a hot topic of conversation, leading to speculation that he could leave Old Trafford.
“It wasn’t Koby who was wearing the T-shirt,” Amorim said. “He’s not going to start because of the T-shirt, but he’s also not going to go to the bench because of the T-shirt.
“If we feel he is the right player, he will play. It doesn’t matter.”
United defender Luke Sahe spoke in July in solidarity with attempts to change the changing rooms at Old Trafford, which Amorim described at the time as “toxic” changing rooms.
Mainu may have a chance to start against Villa after Brazilian midfielder Casemiro was suspended for the 4-4 draw with Bournemouth.
Defenders Matthijs de Ligt and Harry Maguire are still injured, but Nousser Mazrawi, Amad Diallo and Brian Mbeumo are all on international duty for the African Cup of Nations.
