Carrie Ann Inaba didn’t mean to offend the contestants.
A Dancing with the Stars judge apologized for comments he made about his “small” body on Halloween Night while praising the performance of Danielle Fishel and pro partner Pasha Pashkov on this week’s episode of Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
Before stepping into the ballroom on Nov. 4, Danielle said Carey’s criticism stuck with her when The Talk host told her, “You’re a tiny little woman, you have to use that space,” after her routine on the ABC competition series on Oct. 28.
“I’m a tiny little woman,” the Boy Meets World alum reflected in a confessional. “But she’s bigger inside, she’s more powerful, and we need to let her out more often.”
And Daniel admitted it’s not easy to show how big his moves are, quipping, “It doesn’t come naturally to you swinging your 5-foot-1-inch body around the floor.”
