These days, Nia has risen to the top of her own pyramid, and her advocacy work has earned her a tour of the Oval Office with then-President Joe Biden and an interview with former Vice President Kamala Harris.
Now, she claimed, “I have no regrets about doing the show.” “To be honest, I really don’t. All my experiences have led me to where I am and I wouldn’t change anything.”
“I’ve already lived a lot of lives where I feel like I can try anything,” said the recent college graduate. “So, yeah. I don’t regret it at all.”
That includes her relationship with her former mentor.
After being diagnosed with cancer, she reached out to Abby, but the Madhouse star refused to meet with her.
“I wanted to reach out,” Nia said, explaining her decision. “I would never wish harm or illness on anyone.” But when Abby refuses the olive branch, “I’m like, ‘Okay, this is my job. I’m fine.'” That was nipped in the bud really quickly. I was like, “Okay, yeah, you haven’t changed.” ”
But Nia lives a life completely away from the dance floor. Keep reading to see how she and her former co-stars are enjoying life as soloists.
