Eddie Murphy lets cameras into his home for the first time in new documentary trailer
Eddie Murphy has always kept his family life far away from the public eye.
The Shrek star will reflect on his rise to superstardom in the upcoming documentary Being Eddie, which will peel back the curtain on his evolution from influential stand-up comic to Saturday Night Live cast member to full-fledged movie star.
And the Netflix project will give fans unprecedented access to the 64-year-old’s private world, as he invites cameras inside his vast estate for the first time.
“This is the perfect house to be haunted,” he joked in a trailer for the documentary released on October 22. “In 100 years, I’ll be near this mother.”
The doc also explores how parenthood has affected Eddie’s life and career. (He is married to Eric Murphy, 36, and ex Paulette McNealy, Bria Murphy, 35, Myles Murphy, 32, Shane Murphy, 31, Zora Murphy, 25, Bella Murphy, 23, and ex-wife Nicole Murphy, Christian Murphy, 34, and ex-Tamara Hood, Angel, 18, and ex-Mel B, and Izzie, 9, and Max, 6, and wife Paige Butcher.
