Grace VanderWaal’s family is mourning a great loss.
The America’s Got Talent Season 11 champion revealed that her mother, Tina Vanderwaal, passed away after a long battle with breast cancer. She was 53 years old.
Grace, 21, posted a carousel of photos of herself and her mother on Instagram on October 21, writing, “Still can’t find the words.” “Mom, I love you. I really do. I want to call you when I wake up. I don’t know how to move on without you. I love you.”
A day earlier, the singer’s father, Dave Wonderwall, confirmed his wife had died on October 20 in a lengthy statement detailing her legacy.
