After playing the twins Annie and Harry in her first major role, Lindsay Lohan went on to become one of Hollywood’s biggest young stars with roles in Freaky Friday, Mean Girls, Just My Luck and Prairie Home Companion.
After two DUI arrests in 2007 and some time in rehab, Lohan left Hollywood, played Elizabeth Taylor in the 2012 Lifetime film Liz & Dick, appeared in The Canyons in 2013, and then resettled in London, then moved to Dubai.
She went on to become an entrepreneur, opening two nightclubs in Greece, and eventually made a comeback with her own MTV reality show, Lindsay Lohan’s Beach Club, which only aired for one season (following in the footsteps of Oprah Winfrey’s infamous short-lived reality series Lindsay on OWN). She also served as a judge on the Australian version of The Masked Singer.
In April 2020, Lohan restarted her music career, releasing her first pop single, “Back to Me,” nearly 16 years after the release of her debut album, Speak.
Then, in 2022, she returned to acting with Netflix’s Falling for Christmas, and followed up with Irish Wishes in 2024. And the Disney alum gave fans what they wanted by reprising her Freaky Friday role in 2025’s Freaky Friday, co-starring Jamie Lee Curtis.
Will it be another big life victory for Lindsey? She gave birth to her first child, Luai, with her husband Bader Shammas in July 2023.
