Why Sister Wives’ Kody Brown has a strained relationship with ‘most’ of his adult children
Madison Brush is keeping her peace.
The Sister Wives star shared some insight into her relationship with her estranged father Kody Brown after sharing some touching words on social media about deciding what’s “worth your energy.”
One follower responded to Madison, 29, saying, “We lack this skill,” and on October 10, she shared a screenshot of the DM response on her Instagram Stories. It read, “Your father tells you your lies for the whole world to hear, and he’ll tell you that real fast.”
In a subsequent IG Stories post, the reality star responded to an anonymous question about whether she had sought “professional therapy” to work through her complicated relationship with her father.
“Yes, I see a professional therapist from time to time,” she wrote. “I have benefited a lot from this, and I think anyone who has a complicated family relationship can benefit from this.”
Madison, who has children Axel, 8, Evie, 6, Josephine, 2, and Emilia, 6 months, with husband Caleb Brush, recently opened up about her year-long estrangement from Kody, 56, on the TLC series, getting emotional as she recalled the distance between them.
