Ramin Yamal was excluded from Spain’s World Cup qualifiers against Georgia and Bulgaria this month, and after receiving a recurring gro caliber injury, he said.
The 18-year-old winger is expected to be on the sidelines for up to three weeks after the issues resurfaced following Wednesday’s 2-1 defeat to Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League, the LA La Liga club said in a statement Friday.

“The problem with the gro caliber in Lamine Yamal has returned following his match against PSG. Players missed the game (Sunday) against Sevilla and his recovery time is estimated to be 2-3 weeks,” Barcelona said.
The timing is particularly cruel for Yamal, who just returned from the previous three weeks of layoffs.
Yamal took the anger of Barcelona coach Hansifric, who felt it had gotten worse by playing in the World Cup qualifiers in September, and made his first start in his first match since August after missing four games when he recovered from a gro caliber injury.
Spanish coach Luis de la Fuente said on Friday that there was no problem with the flick after criticism of the national team’s handling of teenagers.
“There’s no conflict with Flick. I was surprised by these statements because he’s a national team coach. I thought he had that sympathy,” Delafuente said after announcing the team for upcoming qualifiers.
“You know there are two very important matches. You’re playing in the World Cup. You seem to be in the background and talking about flicks.
“We’re playing in the World Cup, and that’s what really matters. The rest isn’t important. Everyone said what they said.
Flick said when he briefly spoke to De La Fuente via text message that their communication could improve.
De La Fuente tried to make the situation clearer as he tried to attract the line under this issue.
“What happened was that when the game ended he had a certain discomfort. But I never played without discomfort. Nothing happened,” he said.
“Our medical staff explained it, and I explained it. There was nothing more. Was he feeling uncomfortable after the match? Well, I don’t know.”
Yamal’s latest injury also raises doubts about his availability to El Clasico against Real Madrid on October 26th.
Spain is also without Nico Williams and Dani Carbajal next week, but Alvaro Morata was removed from the team after a slow start to the season with Como.
Athletic Bilbao’s Winger Williams hasn’t played since defeating Torquier 6-0 and suffering a gro caliber injury. His club reportedly wanted his playing time to manage his playing time due to physical discomfort.
“There are always risks in soccer and sports. If he’s playing for a club, he assumes those risks. We’re talking completely about normal circumstances,” Delafuente said.
Spain is the top of Group E, earning six points after two matches. They will face Georgia at Elche on October 11th and will meet Bulgaria in Valladolid three days later.
