It appears that Zosia Mamet shares why she left her role in Mad Men.
The girl alumni revealed why she suddenly left her guest appearance in two seasons of acclaimed television series at the age of 19.
For Zosia, who appeared in Mad Men in several episodes of seasons 4 and 5 aired from 2010 to 2012, fell into the bad interaction she said she had with the showrunners of the series.
“We were doing blocking rehearsals when he showed up on set,” the 37-year-old recalls in her new collection of essays. “The scene was short and easy. I’ll come to the office and tell everyone that I took a picture of the important things, remove them from the Manila envelopes I was carrying and place them on the table.”
However, when Zosia ran through her role in the scene, she said the showrunner (the name she didn’t disclose) praised the director’s role and called it a “cut.”
