Gold reached a new record as Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies rose amid the government shutdown. Longtime investor Leon Cooperman said he has reached the bull market phase that Warren Buffett warned. Pfizer is on track for its best week since 1974, but Eli Lily is keeping pace with its best week since 2023. Merck notched its best day since 2021. We are on track for our best week since 2009. Tesla heads for his fifth straight positive week. This matches the winning streak that ended in 2023. Meanwhile, Libian stocks are on track for the worst weekly performance of stocks in a month. Reddit Red Alert? Reddit’s stock fell 12% after new data showed that the citations on social media platform Chat GPT had fallen. Stocks have been on track for the worst week since early April. RDDT 3M Mountain Reddit stock has skyrocketed 24% for Wall Street debut Neptune Insurance Holdings, which has made its NYSE debut for the past three months. The country’s largest private flood insurance company has been made public as the government has suspended new applications and claims under the National Flood Insurance Program. Are you still watching? Streaming stock closed the decline led by Netflix, falling 2%, marking its lowest level since early August. Elon Musk is urging X followers to cancel their Netflix subscription, but there is no clear market catalyst. It is unknown how many people followed Musk’s advice after Netflix released an animated show with transgender teen characters.
