The gorgeous and pageantry of President Donald Trump’s national visit to the UK is likely to provide a welcome distraction from troubles at the frontlines of the UK government’s home.
A full-scale visit on Wednesday, when Trump and First Lady Melania become guests of Windsor’s honours of Charles III and Queen Camilla, comes at a heated time for British Prime Minister Kiel Starmer.
In the final two weeks, the star’s deputy prime minister and close ally Angela Rayner resigned after a House tax scandal, causing a re-shuffle of major cabinets. Subsidy then fired British ambassador Peter Mandelson over his ties with dishonorable investor Jeffrey Epstein.
