Charlie Sheen, son of Martin Sheen and son of Emilio Estevez’s brother, is one of the two and a half men’s original “mans,” playing Charlie Harper as his on-screen brother in the first eight seasons of the CBS sitcom across from John Cryer. In 2011, the eighth season was shortened amid Sheen’s battle with addiction.
He clashed with well-known executive producer Chuck Roll and Press on social media and was fired from the series (and coined the phrase “winning” and “Tiger’s blood”). His character was killed and later played as the ghost of Cathy Bates.
After leaving the two and a half men, Sheen booked a television version of Anger Management, which aired from 2012 to 2014 and produced 100 episodes over two seasons. Since then, he has appeared on the big screen in Goldberg and Scary Movie 5, Machete Kill, 9/11.
In 2023, the actor he shared with HIV positive in 2015 made a cameo as himself in Lorre’s Max series Bookies. He released his memoir The Book of Sheen, aka Charlie Sheen in 2025.
Sheen has now settled for years, sharing her former relationship with her ex-wife Brooke Mueller, daughter Sami Sheen, Lora Sheen and ex-wife Dennis Richards, daughters Cassandra Estevez and sons Bob Sheen and Max Sheen from their previous relationships.
