US President Donald Trump will host 20 well-known technology and business leaders for his first event at the White House’s renovated Rose Garden on Thursday.

Included in the invitees Meta Founder Mark Zuckerberg; apple CEO Tim Cook, Microsoft Founder Bill Gates and Open founder Sam Altman, according to a list confirmed by White House officials.

Tesla CEO and founder of SpaceX Elon Musk previously served as a special government employee in the first few months of the latest Trump administration, and later dropped out with the president, and was invited to X but was unable to attend.

“My representative will be there,” he wrote.

The meeting will take place via dinner after another White House event on artificial intelligence hosted by First Lady Melania Trump.

The rally highlights the close and complicated relationship between Trump and the major technological sector in his second administration.

Many of the aforementioned executives are hoping for friendly ties with Trump, appearing at events alongside the president, announcing moves that align with the administration’s goals on emerging technologies and the US CV.

Invites to the event include other technical leaders, such as Open Eye President Greg Brockman. Google co-founder Sergei Brin; Palantir Chief Technology Officer, Siam Sankar. Scale AI co-founder and head of super intelligence team MetaAlexandre Wang.

CEOs such as Google’s Sundar Pichai and Microsoft’s Satya Nadella OracleSafra Catz from and David Limp from Blue Origin are also invited.

Naturally, David Sacks, a venture capitalist who serves as White House Crypto and AI Czar, is expected to be part of the event. Shift4 founder Jared Isaacman is also expected to be present despite Trump’s withdrawal of his appointment to run NASA in June.

Fix: This story has been updated to reflect that David Limp is the CEO of Blue Origin. Previous versions misstate what company he is leading.
