No. 10: He can handle the pressure
Not only did Travis play in four Super Bowls, winning three of them (NBD!), but he also hosts Saturday Night Live, so he knows he can handle the intense spotlight with ease.
While that may seem trivial, Taylor has written several songs about her fear that her level of fame can prove that her romantic partner is too much for her to deal with. (See Peace and Shooters)
“It all depends on who you are with,” Taylor said, “If they have serious problems with it, you’ll hide it, I wouldn’t really like it.
“If you’re in a relationship and you can make it look normal, I think that’s a good thing.”
And in his WSJ interview, Travis proved he was ready for the pressure that comes with marrying someone as powerful as Taylor.
“Obviously, I’ve never dated anyone with such an aura about them… I’ve never dealt with it,” he said. “But at the same time, I haven’t run away from it.”
“Scrutiny she gets, how much she has an enlarged glass for her, every day, outside of all the restaurants she goes outside her house, she’s just living and enjoying life,” he added. “When she behaves that way, I’d be not all strange behaviours.”
