Tiger Woods will return to competitive golf, minus most of the walking, when he tees up at Jupiter Links Golf Club on the final night of the Tomorrow’s Golf League (TGL) finals in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla., on Tuesday.
Sahith Segala made a birdie on the final hole to give Los Angeles Golf Club two points and a come-from-behind 6-5 victory over Jupiter Links Golf Club in the first round of the title series on Monday.

Woods is serving as an advisor and unofficial cheerleader for the TGL team as he recovers from lumbar disc replacement surgery in October and a torn left Achilles tendon suffered last spring.
Woods, 50, is the seventh player to undergo back surgery.
Woods last played a serious golf event when he missed the cut at the 2024 British Open Championship at Royal Troon in Scotland.
Asked last week about playing in next month’s Masters, Woods said, “I’m working on it. Some days are good, some days are bad. Changing discs is not a lot of fun.”
“…So, like I said, I’ve had a lot of procedures before that, so my body won’t fully heal like it did when I was 24. It won’t fully recover. So there are good days where I can pretty much do anything, and other days where it’s hard to move around.”
On Monday, the Jupiter team of Max Homa, Tom Kim and Kevin Kisner led 3-2 after nine holes of triple play against the Los Angeles team of Justin Rose, Tommy Fleetwood and Seagala.
In singles, Rose defeated Homa and Fleetwood defeated Kim to give LA a 4-3 lead. Segala defeated Kisner and Jupiter regained the lead at 5-4 before Rose defeated Homa.
After Fleetwood and Kim halved the hole, the match became Seagala vs. Kisner. The hammer was thrown, doubling the hole’s value, and Segala reached the green in two for birdie on the par-5 15th hole. Kisner’s chip-in attempt from outside the green would have halved the hole and given Jupiter the victory, but it fell short.
In last year’s first TGL final, Atlanta Drive GC defeated New York Golf Club 2-0.
