Chloe Kim may have left the 2026 Olympics with new jewelry.
However, that only includes the new silver medal, not the engagement ring. That’s despite what fans would be led to believe by a photo of her boyfriend, NFL player Myles Garrett, going viral in Italy.
“Don’t be fooled. It’s not real,” Khloe said during an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live on February 26.
In fact, the snowboarder pointed out some obvious flaws in the image, which was probably designed by AI. First, Chloe already has a ring on her left ring finger in the photo, and second, Miles, who first sparked romance rumors with Chloe in May 2025, is wearing sunglasses.
After all, she said, “I don’t want a guy to propose to me with sunglasses on.”
How did he find out that his 25-year-old girlfriend was “engaged”? It turns out that her fellow Olympian Lindsey Vonn was fooled by a fake image.
“I hope she’s not mad that I shared this,” Khloe began, “but she texts me and she’s like, ‘Oh my god, congratulations.’ And I’m like, ‘Oh, thank you, but you already congratulated me on my medal, so thank you again.'” She was like, “About the engagement.” I’m like, “What?”
