Be prepared for more trauma than just injuries in Pitt’s second season.
After all, Shabana Aziz, who plays third-year medical student Victoria Javadi on the HBO Max show, teased that there will be “a lot of breakdowns” similar to what Dr. Michael “Robbie” Robinavich (Noah Wyle) experienced during his time on the job in season one.
“We’re still filming,” the actress revealed in an exclusive E! News interview with The Hollywood Reporter at the Spotify Nominees Night event in Los Angeles on January 8th. “I had work today, and I will work tomorrow as well.”
Shabana added that there will be a lot of blood, considering the entire season will once again take place inside the ER at Pittsburgh Trauma Medical Center.
“It’s not a spoiler,” she quipped, “because there’s obviously a ton of gore.”
And just like the day and night shift staff, the cast and crew are “like family” in real life.
“I don’t feel like I’ve gotten any glossier or changed,” the 28-year-old said, explaining how Pitt’s recent success at the 2026 Critics’ Choice hasn’t changed the atmosphere on set. “It’s a really nice place.”
