—

The latest version of the Epstein files released by the U.S. Department of Justice on Friday appears to show a photo of former Prince Andrew leaning on all fours over a woman or girl lying on the floor.

In one undated image, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor looks directly into the camera as he crouches over a fully clothed figure whose face is obscured.

Another photo shows Mountbatten-Windsor’s hand on the same person’s abdomen. In the background, another unidentified figure has his feet propped up on a table with a stack of towels on it.

The latest Epstein dossier also includes an email exchange between convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein and Mountbatten-Windsor in August 2010, in which the disgraced financier invites the royal family to dinner in London with “friends”.

Mountbatten-Windsor replied, “It’s nice to meet her,” and told Epstein to give her his contact information.

Epstein later described her as a “smart, beautiful, trustworthy 26-year-old Russian” and admitted that she had Mountbatten-Windsor emails.

The message was sent two years after Epstein pleaded guilty to soliciting sex from a minor.

More than a month later, in another series of emails, Epstein and Mountbatten-Windsor made plans to meet in London. Mountbatten-Windsor suggested having dinner at Buckingham Palace, where there would be “plenty of privacy”. Epstein wrote that the two would “need/have some private time.”

It is unclear when and where the image was taken. No caption or context for the photo was provided in the document release. Neither the photo nor the email message suggests any wrongdoing. CNN has reached out to Mountbatten Windsor for comment.

Mountbatten-Windsor has always denied all the accusations against him, insisting he never witnessed or suspected Epstein of any of the acts he is accused of. In a now infamous BBC interview in 2019, he said he had cut off all ties with Epstein in 2010.

The Justice Department released the latest set of files related to the Epstein investigation on Friday, six weeks after a Congressional deadline.

The new photos and email exchanges are likely to bring Mountbatten-Windsor under even more scrutiny over his relationship with Epstein, which ultimately led King Charles to take the unprecedented step last year to strip his brother of his title of “prince” and banish him from Windsor House.

Buckingham Palace did not issue a new statement to CNN on Saturday. Instead, it pointed to an October 2025 statement outlining King Charles’ decision to strip Mountbatten-Windsor of his style, title and honors.

Last month, the Justice Department released another cache of Epstein files that highlighted the relationship between Mr. Mountbatten-Windsor and Mr. Epstein, as well as Mr. Epstein’s then-girlfriend, former British socialite Ghislaine Maxwell.

In one email, in 2001, a person identified only as “A” from the British royal family’s Scottish estate asked if Maxwell had “found a new inappropriate friend”. Another set of emails appears to show Maxwell helping plan “A”‘s trip to Peru with “girls.”
