The timeline jumps to 2015, where Evan and Bree’s wedding takes place, after Lucy is expelled from Baird College and Stephen’s offer is revoked from Yale University for sending pornographic images (a reference to a photo Stephen emailed to Princess Diana’s father). In the time jump, it is revealed that Stephen is engaged to Lucy’s former best friend Lydia (Natalie Linez), but the engagement is short-lived because that morning, Stephen admits to having an affair with Lucy and tells her that they were together only to make Lucy jealous. In true Stephen style, he mercilessly dumped her.
Later, at his own wedding, Steven confronts Bree about her past, taking the microphone and spilling everyone’s secrets. Lucy is sleeping with Evan, Bree finds and releases Lucy’s confession video, Stephen sleeps with Lucy on the morning of their wedding, and Bree and Wrigley have been sleeping together for months.
Pippa and Diana, who are currently dating, flee the event, while the remaining antagonists fight tooth and nail. However, in a twist that no one expected, Lucy agrees to leave with Stephen after the function, even after responding to his request with “But I hate you.”
After the two were seen driving away together, Stephen dumped Lucy at a truck stop, and all she could do was look up at the sky and laugh.
