Leah Shirley is celebrating her step-sister on her special day.
Amber Portwood and Gary Shirley, 16, presented their heartfelt birthday message with step-sister Carly Anderson, daughter of Gary’s wife, Christina Shirley.
“Happy 18th birthday Sissy!!” Leah wrote on Instagram on September 15th along with a series of unusual family photos. “Remember, wherever you are leading you, you have no regrets. I love you so much. I hope you have had the best day ever.”
And beyond the throwback photos, Leah got a glimpse of Carly’s 18th birthday bash. This featured a selfie from Carly wearing a pink birthday sash.
Leah’s sweet birthday message to her sister is a rare look in Carly’s private world away from her teenage mom camera. There, Leah, Christina, Gary and her daughter Emily Shirley (10) recorded their lives.
And more recently, Leah’s 16th birthday celebration, depicted by a teenage mom earlier this year, includes the quest to be officially adopted by his 10-year father’s wife, including continued alienation from Amber.
