Taylor Russell isn’t breaking dishes after being mistaken for Rihanna.
When a reporter mistook the Bones and All actress for the “Diamonds” hitmaker outside the Dior Paris Fashion Week show on January 26, Taylor reacted unfazed.
In a fan-shot video posted to X magazine on January 26, someone behind the camera says, “That’s Taylor, King Russell,” to which Taylor adds, “I’m just her little mini-me.”
But that doesn’t mean she wasn’t ready for Rihanna’s arrival. At the end of the light-hearted exchange, Taylor, who previously dated Harry Styles, added: “Yeah, I’m looking forward to meeting her.”
For the occasion, the Mother Couch actress wore an embroidered white dress that featured a high neck detail and a dramatic hip drape. To accessorize, Taylor, 31, wore black pointy pumps. Meanwhile, she wore her hair in a sophisticated updo.
And you can’t blame journalists for this mix-up. After all, Rihanna, who shares three-year-old RZA, two-year-old Riot, and four-month-old Rocky with A$AP Rocky, previously revealed that she would like the Canadian actress to play her in a future biopic.
