Taking part in a social media challenge called “Show me your childhood crush and who you ended up dating” during the infamous Edward vs. Jacob debate, Tay confessed about her allegiance to Twilight.
Her Instagram clip showed two snaps of Robert Pattinson as the brooding vampire Karen, before cutting to a photo of Taylor as a werewolf. Tay’s caption read, “I think it’s time to come clean.” “It’s about time we won something,” Taylor said.
Sadly, Taylor has yet to meet Rob, despite her revelation to E! News that she once had the opportunity to sit next to him on a transatlantic flight, but “didn’t say hello.”
“She came to visit me in London on the set of a TV show I was doing called ‘Cuckoo,'” Taylor recalls. “When she came up to me, she was like, ‘You’d never guess who I was sitting next to on the plane.'” Taylor ultimately never got close to the Batman star, but said she “would have loved” the chance encounter.
Tay explained to E! News that she didn’t speak to Rob because it would have sounded “very weird” to introduce herself as “Taylor’s girlfriend that no one knows about yet.”
