Stranger Things Season 5 Edit Error: Tape Mark Video

Something stranger than monsters has been discovered in the town of Hawkins.

Eagle-eyed fans spotted a hilarious editing error in Stranger Things Season 5, Episode 2. There, Will (played by Noah Schnapp) and Robin (Maya Hawke) set out on a mission to find the exact location where they last saw a vision from Vecna.

The clip, posted to TikTok on December 4, shows Will and Robin walking through a local park in the dark with flashlights in hand. And as Will approaches the spot he saw through Vecna’s eyes, he finds an X mark made of orange tape and an X mark made of blue tape on the ground in front of them, presumably indicating where the actor should stand.

A TikTok user captioned the video, “Omg orange and blue electrical tape scene markers are wrong,” along with a crying emoji.

However, viewers were not upset when they discovered a small editing error. In fact, some noted that the incident served as an important memory.

One user commented, “Actually, I like to capture little details like this to remind myself it’s a show,” while another user joked, “Just know someone has a whole theory about spike tape.”
