Music is a success, but relationships are a challenge
Obviously, it was the right move. The band’s 1975 album of the same name won a No. 1 spot on the Billboard 200 chart and featured hits such as “Landslide,” “Rhiannon,” “Over My Head,” and “Say You Love Me.”
The group then began working on the 1977 album Rumors.
But as their stars rose, the relationship between Knicks and Buckingham, McViez, Fleetwood and his wife, Jenny Boyd, all fell apart.
“When I joined Fleetwood Mac, everything was really rocky between me and Lindsay,” Knicks said he wouldn’t stop the documentary. “I think we all made a little quiet oath. Let’s fix these relationships now because we can’t break up. If we can’t, there’s no Fleetwood Mac.”
But the relationship is over. In 1976, McVies divorced while Knicks and Buckingham were split (Fleetwood and Boyd also later disbanded).

“All my songs were about Lindsay, and Lindsay’s songs were all about me,” Knicks added.
