Stanley Tucci says “Chao” to the Olympics.

The Emmy Award-winning actor heads to Italy to help NBC cover the 2026 Milan Cortina Winter Games, announced today on the episode of September 15th, to head to Italy next year.

“Do you know where we’ll roll right away?” he posed on a pre-recorded video on a morning news program. “In Italy, at the Milan Cortina Olympics, I’m here here on NBC. So join Milan primetime. There’s great food, great drinks and of course incredible competition. I look forward to it.

According to the network, both parents, Tucci, a heritage site in Italy, is “a current segment of the Travellogue style that emphasizes the food, traditions and history of the region, hosting the Winter Olympics.”

And Tucci couldn’t be more excited to share the culture of his hometown with millions of sports fans around the world.

“Learning about the Italian people was my passion, by traversing the country and tasting the food,” he said in a September 15 press release. “But this time, I have a guest with me. It’s the world.”
