Seoul, South Korea (AP) – Korean charter plane departs for the US on Wednesday and returns Korean workers Detained by immigrants Attacks in Georgia last week.

A total of 475 workers, over 300 Koreans, It’s been rounded up On September 4th, the attack was made at a battery factory under construction at a vast Hyundai car factory. US authorities have released a video showing what is tied up with chains around the hands, ankles and hips.

The South Korean government later said it had reached an agreement with the US. Workers’ release.

Korean workers will be brought back home a few days after detention

In the footage of South Korea, a charter plane was seen taking off at Incheon International Airport, just west of Seoul, with a Boeing 747-8i charter plane from the Korean air. South Korea’s Foreign Ministry said it was talking to US officials about getting the plane home with workers who were released as soon as possible. However, he said on Wednesday that the plane could not depart from the US because South Korea had previously wanted it for unspecified reasons involved.

The Korean worker is currently in detention at an immigration detention center in Folkestone, southeastern Georgia. South Korean media reported that they will be released and moved to charter planes to move to Atlanta.

South Korean officials said they are negotiating with the US to beat the “voluntary” deviations of workers, rather than deportation that could potentially allow them to qualify for return to the US for up to 10 years.

Attack on the workplace The US Homeland Security Agency was the biggest one because it pursued it. Large deportation agenda. The Georgia Battery Factory, a joint venture between Hyundai and LG Energy Solutions, is one of more than 20 major industrial sites that Korean companies are currently building in the US.

Many Koreans view the Georgia attack as a source of national dishonor, and remain unrestrained. Just 10 days ago, South Korea’s president Lee Jae Myung And US President Donald Trump held them First Summit In Washington on August 25th, in late July, South Korea pledged a multi-billion dollar US investment to sign tariff contracts.

Experts say South Korea will not take any major retaliatory measures against the US, but the Georgia attack could be a source of tension between its allies as the Trump administration intensifies its immigrant raid.

South Korea is seeking improvements to its US visa system

US officials said some of the detained workers illegally crossed the US border, while others legally entered the country, but either expired their visas or were in visa exemptions that prohibited them from working. However, South Korean experts and officials said that despite pressuring South Korea to expand its industrial investment in the United States, it has yet to act on long-standing demand to ensure a visa system to accommodate the skilled Korean workers Washington needs to build its facilities.

Korean companies rely on short-term visitor visas or electronic systems for travel permits to dispatch workers needed to launch manufacturing sites and handle other setup tasks.

LG Energy Solutions, which employs most of the detained workers, instructed US Korean employees not to report their jobs until further notice on a B-1 or B-2 short-term visit visa and to return home immediately with Esta.

During his visit to Washington, South Korean Foreign Minister Cho Hyun met representatives from South Korean companies operating in the US, including Hyundai, LG and Samsung on Tuesday. Cho said that Cho’s ministry said he is actively discussing the creation of another visa allocation for South Korean experts operating in the United States, about the possibility that South Korean officials are actively engaged in discussions with US officials and lawmakers.

Trump said this week that workers were “illegally here.” And the United States needs to work with other countries to train professionals to train US citizens, in order to do professional jobs such as batteries and computer manufacturing.

Atlanta Immigration lawyer Charles Cuck, who represents four Korean citizens detained, told the Associated Press on Monday that the US company has not made the machinery used at a battery factory in Georgia. So they had to come from overseas to install or repair equipment on the premises. This involves training someone in the US, he said.

Korea – USA Military alliance, Blood was produced during the Korean War of 1950-53 and has experienced ups and downs for decades. However, research shows that the majority of South Korea support the two countries’ alliance. This supports the alliance of both countries as 28,500 troops in South Korea and 50,000 Japanese troops serve as the backbone of the US military presence in the Asia-Pacific region.

At a Cabinet Council meeting on Tuesday, Lee said he felt “great responsibility” for the attack and hopes that the operations of South Korean companies will not be unfairly violated again. He said his government will push for better systems in close consultations with the US to prevent the recurrence of similar incidents.
